Breast cancer has changed over the past 30 years, and so have we.

On Mother’s Day, as part of our Race to Empower™ and Walk to Empower™ events held across the country, we formally announced that our new name is Breast Cancer Network of Strength™. This exciting change kicks off our 30th Anniversary year. While our name has changed, our mission remains the same -- to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support, that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Network of Strength Raffle! Breast Cancer Network of Strength is holding a raffle in conjunction with Berghoff's Oktoberfest with the opportunity to win a 12-month lease on a 2008 MINI* courtesy of Bill Jacobs MINI of Naperville! Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100 and the winning ticket will be drawn at Oktoberfest on Friday night, September 19 (winner need not be present to win). Tickets are also available at Berghoff Restaurant and at Bill Jacobs MINI of Naperville and will be sold during Oktoberfest Wednesday, September 17 through Friday, September 19. Be sure to stop by, support Breast Cancer Network of Strength, and enjoy some fantastic Oktoberfest fare, 11 am to 9 pm on the John C. Kluczynski Federal Plaza at the corner of Adams & Dearborn.
